Also known as, “snail children”. Anyway, hello everyone! Hope today is going well for you. I’m doing my best, had a bad night overall but, just chugging along.
My outfit of the day includes this wonderful Animal Crossing shirt from @lolstasia which arrived yesterday!
My snails are really slow getting here… no pun intended 😓 I can’t wait for Saturday for this to be true!! 🐌
Also –I wanted to share a snail home update with you all. This is the webcam view so hopefully Christopher can figure out a way for me to share that with you guys. We will also be decking it out with LEDs, though I will be using them sparingly, perhaps an hour or so daily, so as not to annoy my little guys.
Yesterday Christopher came home with superspecial, superimportant correspondence. It cheered me up lots after a rough day and I was so surprised. Thank you, @maplesadventures_! 💕🌈✨🥺
Hello everyone, I’m sorry to have been quiet. This snail is a toy. Mine haven’t arrived yet (they’ll be here on Saturday.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anyway, time for an update. I am not feeling very well. So the short of it is… once in a while (like once a year or less) if I’m very stressed I feel like I can’t catch a full breath, so I start yawning in excess as a result. At least I’ve always thought this was stress because if I stopped thinking about it, it wouldn’t bother me. It always lasted only a few days. And it never bothered me 24/7 when it happened (and never at night.)
But for a little over a week now, it’s been bad. Even yawning I can’t catch a full breath. No amount of breathing exercises help. Nothing is clogging my chest or sinuses I just continually feel like someone is sitting on my chest, basically. And since it’s been to the point I wake up during the night because of it, I’m worried. So I made an appointment to see the doctor about it on Monday.
It could be a heart thing, I don’t know. I guess we will see. As you might guess I feel utterly exhausted. This makes everything, from drawing to eating to sleeping, not fun. I’m so sorry for any delays.
Yesterday I went out to get some basic necessities including all the food for my snails which will be here on Thursday. It was my first walk in like 3 months since I’ve been social isolating very intensely and plan on continuing doing so.
My bad knee was very stiff though so resuming regular walks might just be a necessity. Health wise, going from 10-13 miles a week to zero hasn’t done me any good. I didn’t cross paths with anyone outside of the store, so it might be doable. My mask is really big (though askew in this picture).
Good morning! Today I’m wearing my new Nala overalls that I made with the patch I got from @kaleidoscopekidco for the first time! I paired them with one of my favorite onesies from Onesies Downunder.
This was the first onesie I ordered from them that wasn’t my own design. I think this design is so utterly adorable! It will always be one of my most favorites. What’s your favorite onesie pattern that remains your most favorite even as you have a “current” favorite that changes?
Onto more patchy goodness, these overalls were ruined with tons of fabric glue, which I removed as best as I could. These large patches are awesome for covering the damage!
These are a work in progress. I moved the Gurgi patch from my red overalls to these, and planning on making these completely Black Cauldron themed!
Good morning everyone! I’m spending a happy morning on the porch over here, with MoonPie and all our cats:
Watching the blue jays eat corn and the squirrel eat critter mix (they’re eating from different feeders.) Drinking my favorite coffee, listening to music, reading a good book, working on art… feels good. How are you spending your Sunday?
Hello everyone! I started my day with coffee and Animal Crossing as usual… did my chores first, now it’s blogging and drawing time. What are your plans for the weekend?
I’m wearing new overalls today and one of my favorite onesies from Onesies Downunder. These overalls have a really weird color and I wasn’t sure what to pair them with, but I LOVE how they look with this dino pattern!
Finally my rainbow phone case arrived from AliExpress, and I was able to stick my new phone grip on it! It looks as lovely as I hoped!
Cerise kept me company while I spent some time drawing on the porch today! It was a nice change of pace, but very hot…
I leave you with this delightful photo of Tomoyo’s ear doing “the thing”:
If you don’t fix it for her, it will stay like that, sometimes for a full hour or longer. I usually fix it. 😅
