Just a little something I drew to cheer Christopher up while he was at work today. 💕

We made it to the middle of the week again! Today was okay. As all the other previous days, it has its ups and downs. I’m trying my best to stay cheerful, and work really hard. Every passing day feels like a little accomplishment.
I do think my posts are kind of boring lately. I’m sorry for that. Maybe I should not post daily when I don’t have anything interesting to say, but it’s a form of self care I suppose, so I try not to skip it.
And I really don’t have anything interesting today. I do have a colorful photo of my lunch:
And a couple of Tomoyo just being cute, laying on my lap and refusing to leave:
Her asthma has been troublesome the last few days, so I’m doing my best taking care of her, too.
My mood isn’t all that bad. But I have been struggling with arm pain and headaches. Before the end of the weekend I hope to have all the commissions I’m currently working on, posted (a total of five). I also did a little gift art for Christopher today which I will post later. 💕
Something kind of exciting happened right before bed! Well, after bed… 🤔 After Christopher and I had our anime time, and I was off to sleep, I had to quickly take care of the snails first. I left it for after anime so I wouldn’t be late to bed (in the end, I didn’t make it anyway). 😒
When I was doing that, I caught two Cuban snails in the middle of mating!
Now, of all my snails, the Cuban ones show the most nocturnal habits. They’re first up quite late at night and back to sleep very early in the morning. I don’t see much of their activity. They’ve been laying lots of eggs, but I never saw them mate until now! 😮 So I had to take a photo, and some video too, because it looks rather different than my other snails:
The video is no different than the photo really, as my friend Jennie pointed out, but I wanted to post all I had since the photo wasn’t very good. 😅 The video isn’t any better, though…
It’s the same process and all, but their parts aren’t the exact same shape/size. It’s not VERY different but just enough that I found it very fascinating to catch. Now I’m sleepy and it’s past 12:30am so I need to go to bed if I am going to take my morning walk. 😬
