I didn’t order the Wonder Garden version but this upcoming Tamagotchi Pix is different enough (especially with the ability to capture the screen!) that I’m excited again. Now I just have to wait til July!

Little Impromptu Get Together 💕🙂
Good morning, everyone! Our weekend ended on a lovely note. Our friend Kris invited us to dinner. I wasn’t super hungry but outings have become quite precious and I wasn’t gonna pass it up. It was him, his girlfriend (whose name I’m still trying to learn) and our friend Jessie whom we saw this weekend already.
We went to Scruby’s BBQ. I was delighted by their holiday window decorations:
These window paintings never seem to change. Now or in the 80s, even in my country, they look very similar. It’s such a nostalgic feeling.
I wanted to be myself last night. I dressed a little more like my usual self and brought Stitches for a picture. I just had fried mushrooms and stole some of Christopher’s fries. My food was actually really bland, so I didn’t eat them all. What with COVID, I didn’t want to touch any of the non-disposable sauce containers or salt and pepper shakers.
After we got home, I worked on a personal New Year’s drawing (I began it at the restaurant, since I brought my iPad with me, but I mostly finished it at home) and then opened the Evangelion Tamagotchi that Christopher got for me. It was a preorder since April, and something we definitely wanted more as a collectible/curiosity than for being a “good” Tamagotchi or anything –but it’s definitely a legit Tamagotchi with the Tamagotchi logo, and it’s official Evangelion merch.
Right now, I still have it at the embryo stage, and I’ve figured out how to do simulation training and give it energy, but I can’t seem to check its stats or do anything else… I’ll have to look into it.
Anyway, Kotoko just came to me meowing with her mouse in her mouth, like every morning. She doesn’t want food or pets. She just brings it for me every morning and then gets on with her day. I guess I should get on with mine.

This one is from last Thursday. I started a stuffie bead necklace giveaway just around then, and decided to go for a walk to get more beads, and to get some stuff for dinner because Christopher was sick in bed. Had my TamagotchiOn with the cover that muninahandmade made and using a lovely lanyard by my dear friend Blankit.

Recently I spent a night recently with Christopher watching horror movies (Midsommar and Hereditary… awesome movies but can get fairly disturbing and gory for sure!) I had peppermint mocha espresso on ice, MoonPie for company, and my TamagotchiOn which I’m really carrying around everywhere these days.
I found an awesome guy to marry one of Kuromametchi’s twins, the one on the left here. Super goth girl looking and I am so pleased because you can’t marry the same gender in this game, so as my friend put it “gay enough for me”. I was very happy!
A beautiful fountain at the mall. The water was pink!!
My ex-boss and friend (who along with his wife officiated our wedding!) took us out to dinner as a thank-you for having him as our guest for a week. The fountain at the outdoor mall was pink!

What else… I’ve discovered a meal I like a lot kinda by accident. Tuna with a bit of mayo, whatever salad I have on hand (usually spinach or an arugula mix) hard taco shells and a few olives, in this case tuna stuffed olives. It was very good!

I DONT KNOW?? I woke up to this? It just happened. I tried hard yesterday with my youngling but still had the odd care mistake. I guess it was just the right amount! I screamed when I saw him! He really loves his ball, does anyone know specific foods and other items he enjoys??

Very sad that my Tama died but I saw it coming, even through I fed her, cleaned her, bathed her, vacuumed the room, changed her accessory once a day and played with 1-2 items daily, it still wasn’t enough to keep her happy and alive (I did send her to her parents too, but it just wasn’t enough.) I’ve just been too depressed to bother with the mini games and she just got sadder and sadder. I’ll try again in a few days when I’m feeling better.
Outing With Chips Ahoy 🐼🌈
I wasn’t doing well at all mental health wise today, so I decided to try to go out for a while to the park. Just take myself in hand and at least make an effort to feel better. I started by prepping a “Little” outfit:
As some of you might notice, this is actually Chips Ahoy 2.0. During my vast purge, the original Chips Ahoy was rehomed. But I was very, very fond of the name that was originally suggested by Flen. I promised myself I would call my next panda that. Anyway here he is with my TamagotchiOn and ready for Funky Sock Friday. 🧸💕🌈
So I actually ended up going round this entire massive park in 100° heat with no water because the exit I was going to at the other end of the park was closed so I had to find the main entrance again. I think I came fairly close to heat stroke but hey! I made it out safely, and got some nice photos.
I found a more secluded spot to take a couple photos of myself, but at this point I was already dying lol 💀💦
I found two playgrounds but no swings! Hmph. But I was able to get some cute pictures of Chips Ahoy. Thankfully he’s very fuzzy otherwise his bum would have burned. Everything was hot enough to fry eggs! 🔥

I will tell you it’s a lot harder to think of fun selfie captions when you’re depressed. Like. Here’s my face. I’m smiling. I don’t really feel like it, but there it is, because I’m not gonna take a sad emo selfie. Lol. Well, I’m not magically feeling better but at least I made an effort to go out and I’m proud of myself for that. I am also very very sweaty. Oh god. So sweaty.
And here we are! Listening to music and drawing and having a pumpkin spice Frappuccino and a feta and spinach pretzel. 🎃🥨
When I get tired I’ll head home and hop in the shower. Do I feel better? I don’t know. Maybe? I’m sweaty and tired, I guess that’s a distraction at least.

This is gonna be one of those “whole day/updated as I go” posts… which are always a bit strange, so bear with me as I update it. 😁

The storm is growing in size but has diminished in strength. Still no sign of it here. Maybe tonight? It seems we have been spared, I am infinitely grateful for this, but it is terrible what it has done to the Bahamas. Here we even have a normal mail day and schools reopen tomorrow. I might even be able to coax Christopher to take me out a while.
I’ve been taking painkillers every few hours, my cramps are bad… but I’m gonna try my best, today too, to have a good day.
It’s noon. I’m really happy! Christopher took me to Target and JoAnns and Mod Pizza and after lunch he said I can get a pumpkin spice latte! I’ve cheered up a lot! 🎃🦇🕸🕷🍂
After lunch we went to JoAnn. They were having a sale of 70% off their blizzard fleece. This is a big deal for me, I needed new fleece for the rats REALLY badly, the girls just shred it to pieces.
I use the fleece over and over since it’s their bedding (I wash it). So I got literally $100 worth of good quality fleece for $29!! I still need to cut it to fit the cage, but yeah. Good stuff. Always check the coupons, folks!! This was a single day deal with the app coupon. I’m very pleased.
I also got some fall things to decorate the studio and library!! I’m gonna decorate this week!
Stuff is from Joann and Target. I just love this time of year SO FREAKING MUCH!! Even though nothing much changes here, at least I can go crazy with my decorating, and that makes me happy.
Home again. Tres Leches is enjoying the first pumpkin spice latte of the season with me! 🎃💕
