New Toys ‘N Things ๐Ÿฆ–๐ŸŽˆ

I may have been getting a lot of toys and stuff lately… in my defense some of it was early gifts since my birthday is coming… ๐Ÿ˜… but it does feel like I’m posting about new toys/games/stickers like every single post lol. I may need to calm my titties a tad.

On that note… Christopher managed to get the goodies I asked for during his business trip. With his coworkers, he went all out of his way to go to the Dinosaur World gift shop for me! He got me this awesome holographic framed print. I love it so much!

The other thing I’d asked for was this raptor lamp. It’s so cute!

Today I also went to pick up my new Grogu. He is extremely adorable, perfect to carry in my bag and even be dressed up. ๐Ÿ˜ I’ll make him a bead name necklace soon.

When Christopher drove me to pick Grogu up from Target (he was a site-to-store order) he also bought me this cute game to play with Shelly this Saturday night:

I’ve actually wanted this game for years to bring to previous Little playdates. In retrospective I’m glad I didn’t get it until now.

After I got home I continued LAN prep and fed/cleaned the snail tank:

They haven’t had cucumber in over a month! It’s a big treat for them.

That’s it for this post! I’m tired…

Today’s Odds and Ends ๐ŸŒˆ

Hi everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™m still working hard on final LAN party prep. Today I went to the craft store and to do some last minute grocery shopping. I wore a very Little-feeling outfit:

I also got a good walk in, so that was nice. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hereโ€™s some video and such of Tomoyo being her good old destructive little self:

She seemed satisfied when she was done.

Some postcards I ordered for scrapbooking arrived yesterday!

The packaging was so delightful that I honestly feel tempted to get back into Postcrossing. I was big into it a long time ago!

The store I bought this from, as you can see, is geared towards Postcrossers. So yeah. Might do that again.

They even included a tiny envelope with bonus stamps! ๐Ÿ“ฎ

I canโ€™t get enough of collecting more scrapbooking stuffโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘‰ ๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿ’ง So, uuuh, hereโ€™s some more I guessโ€ฆ

I also made a new necklace today with some stuff I got at the craft store. Iโ€™m really happy with how it turned out!

Not much else to say because Iโ€™m so busyโ€ฆ Iโ€™m sure Iโ€™ll have a lot to post about next week, though!

Party Time! Sort Of… ๐Ÿ˜

Note: I’ve post-dated this entry because I didn’t want to be so blatant about being home alone while I was actually home alone. Christopher comes back today so now I’m okay posting about it.

Christopher left his morning on a four day business trip. It’s always the same –I’m very excited the day he leaves, excited to eat lots of garbage, go to bed really late, and maybe take an Uber to and back from a favorite store (that’s how I party). In reality, I eat UberEats once, go to bed late because I do more housework than usual, and spend my nights in terror because I hate being home alone at night. Lol.

Anyway, as usual, I asked Christopher if I could order takeout just once at some point during his business trip (he said yes) and did it literally as he was pulling out of the driveway… ๐Ÿ˜… Oops. That counts, right? He’d technically already left.

After working on art for a while, I went grocery shopping for the week (after, of course, a super indulgent “Little” outing –Goodwill and Five Below). I got my favorite, popcorn chicken, at Publix, and even had a soda with it! A real treat, so I took out the fancy china.

As if that weren’t enough I had milk and cookies for dessert… I told you I’m partying.

Part of the reason for the “Little” shopping outing was sleepover snacks. I’m having a sleepover with my new friend in the middle of the LAN. She likes gummies like me so I got a lot of those, among other stuff…

At Goodwill I found a cute Golden Book to use for scrapbooking. At Five Below I got a Grogu sticker for my water bottle, a Pound Puppies bag clip, some “affirmation cards” (very cute and positive, these are also for scrapbooking) and two coloring books for the sleepover. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Here’s the sticker on my water bottle, it looks pretty nice:

Something else you can see in the other photo is my new Mandalorian sticker set. It’s one of those Amazon sticker sets from China that have a TON of stickers… looking at them, I think a lot are stolen art. ๐Ÿ˜ฃ I should have known better. But others are… um… I don’t even know how to put it. I’m just going to share some of my favorites and also some of the most “peculiar” ones below. The rest of the 60 sticker pack was more mundane. Cute, just not unusually so, or not unusually wtf, unlike, well, some of these:

In the evening, after some housework, I tried to make kale chips. It’s maybe the third time I try. Even though they were a bit too oily and salty, I finally managed to get them nice and crispy! So I’m excited to try again in the future.

Since Christopher isn’t home I decided to let Tomoyo sleep with me. She’s usually too poorly behaved to be allowed upstairs at night. She was happy, though.

And that’s it… that was my first, indulgent day, but really one that comes before what I know will be an incredibly busy week. ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’ฆ Goodnight, everyone!

Motherโ€™s Day Weekend In Sebastian ๐ŸŒˆ ๐Ÿงธ

Hello everyone! I hope this post finds you well. First of all I want to apologize for the inactivity –I am finally home again, and I am feeling better. Just very tired.

Though commissions are still a tad delayed, I was able to finish the warm-ups, and will be posting them shortly. I also got progress underway on three more pieces. I really appreciate everyoneโ€™s patience.

We had a nice time with family. My mom in law has a new fish. It is called a Plecostomus or simply Pleco. Itโ€™s the type of fish that suctions onto the glass with its mouth a lot of the time. Heโ€™s really cute and I love him. Heโ€™s big, too. I got a couple of photos of him just lounging.

One of the kids at my mom in lawโ€™s school made these play-doh snails when she told him I liked snails. Didnโ€™t he do an amazing job? I love them!

I brought my new bear, Beanie, on this trip, and cuddled him to sleep…

In the morning, Beanie and I had breakfast together.

My mom in lawโ€™s fluffy cat Spaz came to me for cuddles. Heโ€™s such a softie!

After breakfast we left for Renningers Flea and Farmers Market. Beanie looked out the window all the way.

At Renningers I bought some books, a handbag, a huge snail magnet and a couple of mousepads –one for me and one for my sis in law. Here’s my haul:

Afterwards we had dinner at Makoto’s and then played cards in the evening. I tried to sneak in drawing whenever I could, so I didn’t play cards all the time, but it was nice spending time with family even when I was working.

Grandma didn’t spend much time with us while we were playing. She fell asleep on the couch. I think she fell asleep praying… it was really cute.

Before bed we played a few rounds of Trivia Murder Party and I won once.

Now I’m going to post some art, finish unpacking and then get more art done. I hope you enjoyed your Mother’s day weekend!

Back To The Grind

Welp, Christopher’s gone back to work, and it’s time for me to put the house back to normal and get ready for all of the “beginning of the year” stuff. So I may be a little quiet for a few weeks outside of the blog.

Today my first custom keycap is here. It’s Grogu! I love him, he’s really perfect!

Random snail photo… snacrobatics?

Not much else to say. I’m busy, drawing a ton, output is excellent currently. It’s getting cold again which makes me happy. Organizing paperwork from last year, preparing to do taxes, and un-decorating. Just doing my best, but I’ve been quite bad at keeping in touch with people, I apologize for that –it’ll likely last into the month. Always does for me I’m afraid, but before the end of January I should be back to normal and less busy.
