Christopher’s Back! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Christopher’s back from his Texas business trip! He got here yesterday in the afternoon. I missed him tons. Kotoko did too, she lay on his chest immediately and wouldn’t stop giving him love bites:

As always he brought me a little souvenir:

The other day I bought this Crayon Shin-Chan chocolate egg at Kimchi Mart. It was exactly like a Kinder egg and the toy inside was of really high quality!

Today one of the new otomes for the Switch that I’ve had on pre-order came in. It’s Dairoku: Agents of Sakuratani.

I’m really looking forward to playing it. Otome Kitten wrote a great in-depth review as always.

I’ll close this post with a pic of Celeste and my snack for today, a green tea bread from Kimchi Mart.

I hadn’t had these in a while. Hokkaido cream buns are my favorite but they were out of stock.

Mwakoโ€™s โ€™21 Visit ๐Ÿฆ Day Two

For our first adventure, Mwako and I went to Fern Forest Nature Center! We had so much fun walking the trails and engaging in conversation about so many different things. I brought my little troll doll, Celeste, to take some photos.

๐Ÿ“Œ Warning for a photo of a very tiny ๐Ÿ•ธ๏ธ SPIDER ๐Ÿ•ธ๏ธ a few photos ahead (it’s tiny) and a couple photos of a SNAKE in a tank at the end. ๐Ÿ

A good amount of the trails we picked had boardwalks. It was very hot in spite of the sun not being high in the air yet. While no significant wildlife was about, we spotted tons of interesting things, logs, mushrooms, just small pretty things in nature.

Coming off the boardwalk trail, we went to the Wetlands Wander South trail next.

Down this ledge, it looked as though a troll just like Celeste, or a goblin or elf, might live! Mwako said it probably housed snakes, though. ๐Ÿ˜

Here’s the tiny spider I mentioned at the start of the post. Just minding its own business under a leaf! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•ท๏ธ

Some of these photos look very “samey”… I should have made more of an effort in posing Celeste.

These two were a couple of my favorites, though:

And now for the highlight! Mwako spotted this tiny tortoise on the trail. We thought it might be dead at first glance, but no!

It really was the perfect size for Celeste!

After the photos we gentle put it in the grass where it couldn’t get stepped on.

Before leaving the nature center we went inside one of the buildings to cool off. There was a snake there! Celeste said hi to it.

For lunch, we went to The Tavern! It was a huge treat. I had a crab cake and a crรจme brรปlรฉe .

The crรจme brรปlรฉe was made perfectly. Mwako and I shared it!

Tomorrow we are going to the beach at Mwako’s suggestion. Very, very excited about that! ๐Ÿคฉ We will bring toys to play in the sand. It’s going to be so much fun, I’ve wanted to go to the beach in a Little sort of way for pretty much ever!
